The Product Information File contains information about the product and its method of manufacture. The Product Information File has to be made readily accessible in electronic or other format by the Responsible Person at his address indicated on the label to the competent authority of the Member State in which the file is kept.
The Product Information File must be kept up-to-date at all times and adhere to any changes in regulations. In general the Product Information File contains the product formula, CPSR, analytical requirements, raw material data sheets, packaging specifications and anything else related to the specific product.
